Our Challenge  To give YMCA’s donors a positive reason for
donating rather than focusing on guilt.
   
What we did We created the ‘Disappeared’ appeal which
focused on the positive outcome of Becky, a YMCA beneficiary, to demonstrate what could be achieved with a small donation.
   
Insight  Donors are tired of charitable asks for funds and increasingly want to know what charities do with their money.
   
Integrity  The YMCA is an organisation with a belief that all young people need a chance in life.
   
Impact  The cut out shadow depicting a homeless child dramatised what YMCA do with a positive twist – they rescue vulnerable children from the street and bring them into the caring environment of a YMCA.
